Rings
Gr 9-12 | 1.5 Credits | Quarter-Long | 5x per Cycle *PREREQUISITE: 817 Metals I
Students will learn to design, fabricate, and finish a number of rings before the end of the quarter. Rings, be they a traditional piece of jewelry or a base stand for a wearable mini-sculpture, are the focus of this class. We will explore simple to complex sets of rings-to-stone settings in this course. We will also explore a number of materials to complete our vision of the perfect circle to wear and show proudly.
This is a mixed-grade course and students must have completed Metals 1 as a prerequisite to enroll.
