821 Metals III

Metals 3 is for students who would like to continue their studies in metal but are unable to take Metals Intensive. Students will continue to fine-tune their skills techniques acquired in Metals 2 and add new ones to their repertoire of metalsmith knowledge. Students will be encouraged to combine different metals materials and non-traditional items to their own creative designs. Students will possibly explore surface treatments, color resins, and various patinas, and stone setting. Students will create at least two projects during the semester.  Projects can be wearable jewelry and/or sculptural objects. 

This class can be taken more than once.
