•Draw a map of your home and provide clues to create a search for a hidden treasure. Great way to work on home-related vocabulary and sequential words like first, next, after and last...e.g., “We will go into the kitchen and look on the table (clue!:)....next we need to go upstairs into the __room.”

•Collage (glue photos from magazines- can talk about categories, vocabulary, functions, attributes, etc).

•Make puppets from paper bags or socks to put on shows. The puppets can be from favorite familiar stories.
