Minorities and Philosophy (MAP)

About:

Wellesley College is home to one of the many chapters of the Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) Association. MAP was created by graduate students but is supported by both faculty and undergraduates across the United States.

Mission Statement:

We aim to address (a) discrimination issues in the philosophy profession, (b) theoretical issues regarding philosophy of gender, race, sexual orientation, class, disability, native language, etc, and (c) philosophy done from minority perspectives.

MAP events are hosted by the Philosophy Club. Every event that is a MAP event will be clearly promoted as such. For more information, please see the Events Page.
