The Math Department offers many social events that anyone can attend! Get to know classmates and other math students and interact with professors in a casual setting. Events include:
Course Fair: Preview the upcoming courses for the next semester and directly ask questions to the professors and students who have been in those classes before!
Halloween Trick Or Treating: Visit offices, chat with professors, and eat candy!
Pi Day: Activities vary but they often include delicious pie!
My Math Story: Every semester, some professors give presentations on their math journey. Food is provided!
Math Games: Want to compete to solve fun Math riddles? Then join us for Math Games! Happens every fall, and food is provided!
Math CS Ultimate Frisbee: Hang out with professors and students and play some frisbee, no experience needed!
Senior Celebration: All math majors and minors are invited to celebrate the seniors at the end of the year!
Putnam Exam: The Putnam Exam is an annual nationwide math competition.

QAI Summer Institute: This free, online summer course is the equivalent to STAT 260.
Once you've completed QAI, you are eligible to apply for QAI Internships!

First Year Student Research Apprentice Program: Are you curious to learn about what research is like? Then consider applying for the First Year Apprenticeship Program!
