Angela Bahns is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Prejudice Reduction and Friendship Diversity Lab. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Wellesley College. She is currently the chair of the Psychology Department's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Committee. Professor Bahns earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Kansas and a B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College. Professor Bahns is a fellow of the Society for Experimental Social Psychology, and a member of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, and the Association for Psychological Science. Professor Bahns is a mama to two young children, plays the French horn with an orchestra, and enjoys camping, hiking, and swimming.
