We will keep building on what is working for you and keep you moving toward your personal success, one small step at a time.
I've had the opportunity to practice, learn and grow in a variety of health care settings (multi-specialty clinics, inpatient transplant/nephrology and cardiac floors, allergy, cardiac and diabetes care clinics, outpatient surgi-center, pain management and home care). The area I am most passionate about came from the several years of working and training in a Diabetes Care Center at a teaching hospital. It inspired me to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) over 20 years ago. I eventually transitioned into Chronic Conditions Management Nursing/Coaching, to broaden the scope of coaching which included all the other conditions that often coexist with diabetes. I understand how critical it is to take a whole-person approach to health. Everything in your life impacts your health and wellbeing, so if there is one aspect of your life that is out of balance, it can feel like a rough road you're on. Coaching puts you in the driver's seat, determining the direction you wish to go and taking control of your health and wellbeing.
Being a parent to a child with the diagnosis in elementary school, I experienced firsthand the challenges that come with it and how it impacts the entire family unit. The resources and support for ADHD are lacking in the healthcare system as well as our school systems. I understand how many individuals and families struggle alone due to the stigma, shame, and denial of family, providers and school systems unwilling to accept ADHD as a diagnosis or simply do not understand it.
I am well aware of the fact that one doesn’t simply “outgrow” ADHD. The symptoms experienced may present themselves differently in adulthood, but they are still present (and sometimes worse) and many times very disruptive.
Coaching with me can be very effective with gaining self-confidence and believing in yourself. You will discover strategies that make sense to you to help improve the outcomes of time, goal and “stuff” management and also memory struggles.
If you are one of the many that was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I understand how overwhelming and difficult this can be at first discovery (with all the emotions experienced) as well as ongoing life management challenges. Together we can figure out how you can build on your strengths, awesome qualities and traits unique to you so they are working for you and moving you ahead in the direction you want to travel.
Isn’t it time to take control of your health and your life? What would it feel like to feel fully alive and well? What would having high self esteem and confidence do for you in your life?

I love spending time with my husband of 30+ years, 2 adult sons (& their companions) and my beautiful fur baby, Jessie (who loves Car Car). I appreciate and value the connections we have with our family, friends, and neighbors.
Favorite activities include long walks/hikes along the Lake Front, kayaking, golfing, pickle ball and biking. I dabble in photography and LOVE live music and comedy. I am never without a book as it is my escapism and means to continual growth and development.
