Mr. Meeker - P.E. Teacher

I am a 10 year educator split between teaching 5th grade and K-2 physical education. This is my 4th year at Tozer. My goal is to teach students the base skills they need and inspire the confidence they deserve to go out and participate in whatever activities they are interested in. I love gameifying my curriculum to provide a fun, inviting class where students are willing to make mistakes, learn from them, and help others do the same. On a personal note, I live in Johnstown with my wife, two kids, and dogs. I love to camp, fish, hunt, hike, lift weights, travel, and cook. I have three jobs throughout the year. Obviously, I teach during the school year. I run a residential painting business over the summer. Finally, I teach relationship building through outdoor recreation at Colorado Youth Outdoors in the evenings.

Mr. Clegern - Music Teacher

This will be my second year teaching, and my second year here at Tozer! My music room will focused on making music, having fun, and exploring the role of sound in our daily lives. We will be listening to a variety of music, and exploring different instruments and cultures around the world. I live here in Windsor with my wife Mariah, and our little puppy Grizzly. I am excited for another great year with the amazing students, families, and staff here at Tozer. If any fun music selections cross your mind, I am always looking for more listening selections in and outside the classroom.

Mrs. Wilson - Art Teacher

I am a 7 year art teacher and this is my second year at Tozer. My favorite part about being an art teacher is seeing the excitement of my students creating art. In the past I have created well rounded art programs which include sculpture, clay, fiber arts, and drawing. It is my goal to create lifelong artists were students can use art as an outlet, hobby or lead to a career path in later in life.  I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside. Some of my families favorite thing to do include  practicing and watching my daughter play softball, camping, fishing, swimming and frequent visits to the zoo.

Mrs. Miller - Maker Space Teacher

This is my second year as the Makerspace instructor at Tozer.  I am a parent of a third grader and a first grader within the district.  Prior to working for the district, I was a stay at-home parent for seven years and, prior to that, I worked in the accounting field for 14 years.  Growing up on a farm and ranch, I often observed my dad “tinkering” with things, trying to fix them or come up with a solution to a problem.  As a result, I’ve always had a love for building, creating, and problem solving.   I’m excited to bring this passion to Makerspace, encouraging students to think creatively and fostering a desire to ask questions and problem solve when faced with a challenge.  Outside of work, I enjoy taking road trips with my husband and children, hiking, going to the lake, and riding my horse.

Ms. Jo - Library Media Aide

This is my second year at Tozer as a Library Media Aide supporting our Librarian Mrs. Emery.  I have two children here at Tozer, and two high school students in the Weld-RE 4 district. I have always enjoyed reading and I am excited to share the love of books with students. The best part of my job is helping a student find a book or series that they love and can hardly wait to read! I want our students at Tozer to carry the love of reading with them in and outside of the classroom. The library is also a place for our students to explore, create, and learn. Outside of the library you can find me taking my children on outdoor adventures, reading, or at a ball field/gym watching my children play sports.

Mrs. Emery - Librarian & Learning Coach

This is my 12th year teaching and my 5th year as the Learning Coach and Librarian at Tozer.  The Library is an extension of the classroom. It is a collaborative learning space that promotes creativity, learner agency and fosters a love for learning. My favorite part of working in the library is getting students excited about reading. Reading is an important skill for our students and getting them excited about reading is my goal. Outside of the library, I enjoy spending time with my family including chasing around my son and daughter,  going to the lake, baking delicious treats and spending time with  my friends.
