Classroom Celebrations

The celebrations observed at Weibel Elementary are:

• Halloween (October 30)
• Winter (week before Winter Break)
• Valentines (February 14)
• Teacher Appreciation (May)

Room Parents need to work with the teacher and organize, coordinate and communicate the celebrations within their rooms.

Suggestions and guidelines:

Please ask the teacher for suggestions, time allotment, etc.

For older grades, many of the students are eager to help organize.

Ask for other parents to help. Many are more than willing to help

The official FUSD policy is that food cannot be homemade. Store bought food or pre-prepared items food is allowed.

Please be cognizant of food allergies and dietary needs in planning for food.

Room parent will be responsible for budgeting the money. Or you may ask your teacher, if your teacher decides to do so. Any leftover funds can be used as an end of the year treat/party.

Other that the above celebrations, some classrooms also add in Diwali, Chinese New Year, End of the Year celebrations.
