What is Parent University?

Parent University will be a series of virtual informational seminars to help parents and families with academic, wellness and other important topics. 

Emails and links will be sent a week in advance.

2025-26 Parent University Series

The Weehawken Township School District Parent University is a program of informational sessions scheduled throughout the 2025-2026 school year to keep parents informed and actively involved in their child's education and well-being. Parents should attend to gain crucial information and offer input on a variety of important school topics. The schedule includes meetings about the Gifted & Talented (G&T) program, the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), an overview of the student enrichment program, and important discussions about student and family mental wellness. All parents are invited to connect with the Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) and advisory committee.

La Universidad de Padres del Distrito Escolar del Municipio de Weehawken es un programa de sesiones informativas programadas a lo largo del año escolar 2025-2026 para mantener a los padres informados y activamente involucrados en la educación y el bienestar de sus hijos. Se recomienda a los padres que asistan para obtener información crucial y ofrecer su opinión sobre una variedad de temas escolares importantes. El calendario de sesiones incluye: Reuniones sobre el programa para Estudiantes Dotados y Talentosos (G&T); Información sobre el Sistema de Apoyos de Múltiples Niveles (MTSS); Una descripción general del programa de enriquecimiento estudiantil; Debates importantes sobre el bienestar mental de los estudiantes y las familias.
