Gaggle Teletherapy for Faculty and Staff

The Weehawken Township School District recognizes the importance of prioritizing mental health and well-being. We are proud to launch an important resource for faculty and staff. Anyone interested can take advantage of short or long-term therapy and coaching from a company called Gaggle. The district has partnered with Gaggle to provide confidential, HIPPA-approved assistance.

Gaggle Therapists and Coaches are licensed mental health providers. They are carefully screened and selected to provide staff with the best mental health support available. Upon intake, the Gaggle Therapy & Coaching Delivery Coordinators carefully review an individual’s referral reasons. They then match them with the coach or therapist best suited to address their needs and provide them with a successful outcome.

While both therapists and coaches are well-equipped mental health professionals, they use different skills, tools, and modalities to support mental health. During Gaggle’s intake process, a determination will be made as to whether you would benefit more from working with a coach or therapist. Therapists specialize in strengthening emotional and cognitive skills. They focus on interventions, providing clinical treatment to address existing symptoms and improve well-being.

Coaches are experienced in promoting healing, confidence, self-awareness, and growth. They work to improve emotional health and offer strategies to reduce future crises. Gaggle’s goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and schools by leveraging people and technology. Gaggle Therapy & Coaching partners with school districts to match mental health professionals with the students and teachers who need them most.

The employee self-identifies if they need additional support registering on the website. Gaggle Therapy & Coaching will then match you with a clinician based on your needs. Each weekly session takes place over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video call, making it safe and secure to meet with their therapist or coach. Staff can meet with their therapists or coaches from home or school. Appointments can be scheduled during school, after school, evenings, or weekends. Learn more by calling (800) 288-7750 or visiting www.gaggle.net/therapy.

We believe that by devoting substantial energy to promoting mental health and wellness at WTSD we are investing in everyone’s future. To this end, the district has continued to develop and build upon a comprehensive mental health program within the district.
