The Weehawken School District offers Gifted and Talented Music Enrichment for grades four, five, and six at the elementary level. The elementary Gifted and Talented Music Enrichment Program is designed to allow students to participate in additional instrumental music ensemble that extends beyonds the regular curriculum.
Students who apply for this program will undergo a screening process. The selection process for the Gifted and Talented Enrichment Music Program will require students to participate in an audition that their Music Teacher will evaluate using a musical behavior index. Selected students are expected to keep up with regular classwork and homework.

The Weehawken School District offers Gifted and Talented Art Enrichment programs for students in grades 4, 5, and 6. This program is designed to enable students who qualify to develop their creative and artistic abilities further. Students who apply for this program will undergo a screening process. The selection process for students to participate in the Gifted and Talented Art Enrichment Program requires students to submit 3-5 pieces of art (these can be 2D or 3D works of art). One of the submitted art pieces needs to be an artwork completed in art class at TRS. One of the submitted art pieces must be a work completed independently by the student (not as part of school or as part of another class outside of school). In addition, students must complete an Art Work Written Response Sheet for each work of art submitted. Selected students are expected to keep up with regular classwork and homework.
