Homework will be given Monday through Thursday with few exceptions.
Starting after Back to School Night, the students will be getting "The Book in the Bag" every Friday, except holidays.
Students will be expected to complete their work neatly and thoughtfully. It is very important your child returns their green folder everyday and you check it daily.
Weekly newsletters go home every Monday and/or Friday depending on holidays etc.

Attention Parents:
Because there is a student population of 400+ students, a birthday party or two is taking place every single day. Cupcakes and other unhealthy foods are being distributed on a daily basis.
In order to promote healthier eating habits and minimize disrupting classroom instruction, we would like to offer a different opportunity to celebrate your child’s birthday in school.
We are recommending:
Birthday party celebrations include a parent reading a story to class. Perhaps all the students can sign the book that is read. You may distribute a non-edible token or goodie.
No food, candy or balloons of any kind will be permitted.
Holiday parties will be restricted to pretzels, Baked Lays (G.F.), Pirate Booty (G.F.), 100% fruit juice and water.
Holiday games and activities will be strongly encouraged instead.
A few exceptions will be made:
The PreK Thanksgiving Feast
Holiday Breakfast
Pride Day
End of the Year Celebrations (PreK-2nd Grade)
