Student Success Teacher - Mrs. C. Pastorius
Cindy's role is to assist with Student Learning. Cindy, in collaboration with the CARE team, assists students with things like credit deficit, needed non-traditional environment, disengaged, credit crisis, falling behind.
Child and Youth Worker - Mrs. S. Erdelyan
Sue's role is multifaceted and is mainly to work with students who require some guidance with items pertaining to mental health or coping mechanisms which can range from school, home, personal, friendships, etc. Sue is non-academic support. Students should be directed to Sue for concerns other than academics. Sue will assist students by offering strategies to mitigate social or emotional barriers and, when necessary, support the referral process for mental health counselling.
The role of our Community Ambassador is to assist newcomers in transitioning to CCH. Ms. Jenin will register and welcome newcomers and their families and redirect any needs that they have identified to the services they require. Ms. Jenin is bilingual in both English and Arabic. She is often a key contact for parents and students who share concerns relating to transition to school life.
Graduation Coach - Ms. Sydnie Moore
The role of the graduation coach stems from the GRADUATION COACH PROGRAM for Black, African and Caribbean Students. The Graduation Coach is a mentor that provides and prescribes culturally responsive supports and addresses delivery gaps to help our Black, African and Caribbean students in their well-being and academic achievement.
