Pre-Season

Sparx Team 1126 spent Fall 2023 training incoming team members, working with the robot and prepping for Rukus, held at Nazareth on October 26th. Once the 2024 Crescendo competition was announced, the team met for about 12 hours a week for six weeks to build the components and robot. 

Pittsburgh

The One Webster SparX team competed at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional FIRST Competition where they held fifth place out of 50 teams for quite a while, but ended in 13th. One of the top teams picked them to be their alliance partner and they won the first semi-final. Unfortunately they lost the next round.

FingerLakes Regional at RIT

Sparx competed at our local competition, Fingerlakes Regional. Webster SparX team 1126 wrapped up its season with a strong showing at the Rochester Regional robotics competition held at RIT in March. The team ended with an Alliance record of 4-3-0 & placed 17th out of 54 teams. SparX was presented with an award recognizing them for being at the RIT competition for all 20 seasons.
