Meet Mrs. Thomas!

I am the director of the 4th and 5th grade orchestras at Klem North Elementary and Schlegel Road Elementary. I am a native of Middleport, NY, and graduated with a Masters in Science in Music Education in 2018 and a Bachelors of Music in Music Education in 2014 from Nazareth College. As well as my love for teaching, I have a love for performing! I perform with the Genesee Symphony Orchestra, Bow and Aero Quartet, Greater Rochester Women's Philharmonic, and other various community ensembles. When not teaching or performing, I love to run, hike, garden, and spend time with my family (including my border collie and rabbit). Fun fact about me: my husband and I are working on hiking all 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks! We currently have 11 done.
