Meet Mrs. Lawson

Mrs. Lawson was born in Corning, New York many years ago, where she grew up with one older sister. She tried to play the clarinet, but could not "get the hang of it." So, she took piano lessons instead, and still plays today to relax. Her favorite sport is volleyball, but she likes to swim, too! She was in many school plays, so she looks forward to doing Readers' Theatre this year. She still remembers going camping two or three times every summer to historical places all over the United States. Mrs. Lawson likes to go camping with her own family today, and recently visited both the Assateague Island in Virginia and the Fair Haven State Park here in New York. Her family also has a jet ski, and goes tubing together. Have you been to these places or tried something new this summer?

Now, she lives in Ontario, New York with her husband and three sons. Her children are Connor (age 21), Chris (age 18), and Cael, (say "Kale," age 16), and they like to hear about her classroom at Klem North! Mrs. Lawson enjoys baking, reading, and bike-riding! Her favorite animal is the dolphin, and she loves the ocean. Living by Lake Ontario is the next best thing! Do you go to the Lake?

Mrs. Lawson likes to teach, and enjoys having boys and girls discover new things about our world. What will you help her discover this year?
