Teaching Method
During my classroom observation, I witnessed my cooperating teacher teaching with a student-centered approach. The learning process followed these steps:
The teacher began the lesson with prayer and classroom management.
The teacher displayed the learning objectives and allowed students to read them. In this case, the teacher rephrased the learning objectives from "students will be able to..." to "I will be able to..." to ensure students understood what they were expected to achieve.
The teacher explained the material and provided real-life examples.
The teacher encouraged students to take an active role in the learning process.
Through these steps, I observed that students were indeed actively engaged in the learning process.
