Procedures of Teaching 

Before starting the lesson, I prepared several things, such as contacting my cooperating teacher to get feedback on my lesson plan. I also asked for advice and input from my cooperating teacher to ensure that my lesson would run smoothly.

My lesson followed several stages, namely

1. Introduction: At this stage, I prepared the learning media that would be used and prepared everything needed for the lesson. After that, I asked one of the students or the class leader to lead the prayer.

2. Instruction: At the instruction stage, I did several things, such as informing the students of the learning objectives, teaching the basic material, asking questions to the students, and allowing the students to conclude the lesson near the end of the lesson. I also walked around the class to help students with their worksheets.

3. Closure: As a closing activity, I asked several students to summarize the lesson and asked one of the students to lead the prayer.

Teaching Strategies & Management 

Problem-Solving

To address classroom management issues, I followed my cooperating teacher’s advice to assert my authority by being firm while maintaining a balance of kindness and respect. I focused on increasing my vocal projection and using clearer instructions to regain student concentration and create an effective learning environment. Additionally, I overcame personal hurdles, such as nervousness and the English language barrier, by committing to rigorous preparation and utilizing visual aids. This approach allowed me to manage lesson timing more efficiently and ensure all learning objectives were achieved within the 50-minute session.

Classroom Management 

To manage my classroom, I employ several strategies, including:

1. Circulating around the room: As I explain the material, I walk around the room to ensure all students are focused and can hear me clearly.

2. Assisting students in groups: I circulate to each group to help students solve the problems assigned.

3. Providing presentation opportunities: After students complete their group work, I give one group the opportunity to present their findings to the class. To select the presenting group, I use an online random number generator.
