Welcome to my blog as a participant of SEA-Teacher Batch 11 at St. La Salle University, Bacolod, Philippines. My name is Hasanatun Kamilah, but people usually call me Hasanah. I am currently a student at Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, majoring in Pancasila and Civic Education.
Through the SEA-Teacher program, I embarked on a remarkable journey as a prospective educator. This program provided me with a valuable opportunity to explore the world of education in the Philippines, specifically at the University of St. La Salle. During my participation in the program, I gained numerous invaluable experiences. I experienced significant growth in pedagogy, time management, and English language proficiency. Additionally, I had the chance to directly experience the educational atmosphere abroad and compare it with the Indonesian education system. This experience broadened my perspective, particularly in understanding the differences and unique aspects of the education systems in both countries. Moreover, I felt the warmth of relationships among educators and students, which added a special value to this journey. Beyond academic learning, the SEA-Teacher program has provided me with valuable experiences in developing teaching skills, cross-cultural communication, and cultivating a global perspective in education.
