Hunter Gilbert

Biography

Prior to PA school I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences and worked in a free-standing ER for 2 years on night’s, days, and swing shifts. During my healthcare experience, I learned the importance of teamwork and everyone using their strengths to help the patient’s as much as they possibly could. This is also where I gained my love for patient interaction and getting to help people feel better. I married my wonderful wife in May of 2023 and we are expecting our first child in June of 2025. When I am not studying or doing chores around the house, I love to go hiking, backpacking, fly fishing and target shooting as a way to relieve some stress and get outdoors. I work hard and am always up for a new challenge or to learn something new. I love feedback and appreciate honesty, no matter how hard it may be to hear.
