Task Description
Students learnt how to use ‘one-point perspective’ to draw a street and design the buildings. Students also needed to use ‘overlapping’, to create depth in drawing. Students were encouraged to be creative and design their characters and buildings in a fun way.

Student's Reflection
There are a lot of references I took from games and movies. Even the gun shop being more substantial on the inside is a reference from a movie. The best scene for me is the UFO making things anti-gravitational. I learnt how to draw things that are moving and used colours to attract people. Most importantly, I learnt how to draw one point perspective easily. Now I can draw a ‘two-point perspective’ without rubbing things out again and again. It was a lot of fun drawing this.
Teacher's Comment
Zoe is very creative and skillful at drawing and always full of fun ideas. I love that there are a lot of interesting things going on in this drawing; you have to look very closely to see the details. The more you look at it, the more you find. It was mind blowing when she explained her drawing to me. The perspective, and the sizes of characters were all very well planned.
