Task Description
In this Math journal, students were asked to share some examples related to Averages. The purpose of the Math journal is to cultivate student ownership in their learning. It also helps connect their daily lives with this subject.

Student's Reflection
This work is about ‘Averages’. The math journal was given out in late October last year, which is close to Halloween. Therefore, I created a story with Halloween as the background. In the story, Mr. Lam randomly distributes candies to us and teaches us the way to calculate the average.
Teacher's Comment
Avery’s work is interesting and creates a good scenario to bring out the usage of ‘Averages’. She put a lot of thought into her work, and brought out creativity in such a logical subject! Her work is inspiring and fun. It really demonstrates that Mathematics is everywhere in our daily lives! What a wonderful ‘Averages’ story!
