Task Description
In this topic, students learned about the eight planets in our solar system and their positions. They also learned some basic scientific facts of each planet, such as Venus is the hottest planet, and Jupiter is the biggest planet. Through studying the position of different planets, students can better understand that the unique position of the Earth, which gives us an average temperature range that is livable for humans and other living creatures. Students can then learn to help protect the environment and cherish the wonders of nature.

Student's Reflection
This learning task was to make a presentation about my favourite planet, which is Jupiter. I learnt some interesting scientific facts about Jupiter in the process. For example, I now understand the reason why we cannot stand on Jupiter, as it is a gas giant. Also, I have improved my presentation skills after doing this learning task. I enjoyed finding out the facts about Jupiter the most in this task, as I collected information from different books and the internet. I also learnt more about our solar system. It was very interesting.

Marcus showed great effort in making the video presentation. He did a lot of preparation work in researching the information of his favorite planet, Jupiter. I am especially impressed by the part that Marcus compared the facts of Jupiter with our Earth, making it very interesting and fun to know how amazing Jupiter is. Well done, Marcus!
