Task Description
Students learned about the reflection of light on a plane mirror in this experiment. Through a hands-on experiment, they discovered that light always bounces off the same angle from where it hits the mirror. Angle of incidence is the angle of the light ray that hits the mirror and the normal line. Angle of reflection is the angle between the normal line and the light ray that reflects off. They could conclude that angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection from this experiment.

Student's Reflection
This experiment was about the reflection of light. I learned that angle of incidence = angle of reflection. The size of the image will also be the same. The thing I enjoyed most was that we could do the experiment on our own to understand the reflection of light. I would like to learn more about the reflection of sound too. I wonder if sound waves behave the same as light.
Teacher's Comment
Elemi put great effort into recording the result of the experiment by drawing the light rays and projecting the reflection of the light rays with different angle of incidence. It is not easy to draw the lines to make sure the angle of incidence is the same as the angle of reflection, but Elemi tried her best and did a great job. Well done, Elemi.
