Student's Reflection
I carried out an experiment to test for the presence of starch in various foods. I dropped some iodine solution on different foods, and I observed the colour of iodine solution. I learned that bread, chips and biscuits have starch, but lemon doesn’t. I found that iodine solution will turn to a bluey black colour after touching starch. I enjoyed watching the iodine solution change colour; it was so interesting!
