Task Description
We asked the students of P4 to discuss some actions related to the core value of ‘Respect’ in the P.E. lesson. We separated the students into seven groups and asked them to discuss the positive outcome, or negative consequence, for being respectful or disrespectful, in their own words and drawings. We asked students to recall a memory or experience in the past which relates to respect. After that, they had to share their own cases with others and have a discussion about what respect is. I was glad to see that students realized the importance of this value and how having respectful actions helps you build close friendships and increases leadership potential.

Student's Reflection
I learned Respect in this topic. It is very important in the P.E. lesson. This is because I need my friends’ help sometimes; if there is no respect between us, there will be no help. Respect helps us to build up a good relationship.
Teacher's Comment
This group has a special view of Respect in the P.E. lesson. They find that Respect is like a bridge between people. They think that respect can motivate people to help each other. It is a very good point of view, and it is really happening in our P.E. lesson. Students do help one another if they have respect. I wish all of them could, in the future, show their respect is unconditional.
