Task Description
In this unit students had to learn to play the new note F# on the recorder. We practiced the fingering of this note and other notes that we had learned before. After students got used to playing the new note, we played the song “龍的傳人”. In this song students got to use all the notes that they had learned before. Also, they marked the notes for preparation. After that, they counted the beats and practiced.

I played a song called “龍的傳人” on the recorder. It was not so difficult at all. I felt it was a little bit hard the first time I played, because I had to play all notes that I learnt in P3 and P4. However, after I practiced several times I could play it smoothly. I enjoyed it a lot when I played this music with my recorder.
Teacher's Comment
Neville is talented at playing recorder. He played the music with confidence in that he played with a fast tempo but still played smoothly. His tonguing technique is good, making every note he plays clear. His performance showed that he put effort into practicing.
