This is a writing activity for Module 6, “I Want a Dog”. Bethany watched the ETV channel which was assigned on Edmodo, exploring how to take care of different pets. She learned how to write an effective brochure and informational text, using text features appropriately. She also conducted research to collect necessary information to send her message clearly and precisely (as shown in her brochure and presentation).

Bethany really showed how much effort she put into making her brochure and presentation which was about her pet hamster. She used subheadings to organize information effectively. She also planned the layout carefully for each panel of the brochure to create a visually effective work that captured audience interest. In addition, her video was so welcoming. Keep up the great work, Bethany!
