Task Description
Reading is the key to success! Raz-kids is indeed an amazing online reading platform. It provides a differentiated library of books for students to practice reading at school, at home or on the go. When students complete the activities on Raz-kids, they receive stars as rewards which can be used to customize their avatar.
In this writing, Hannah introduces her avatar and tells us briefly what remarkable things they have done. Furthermore, she describes her wonderful day with her avatar thoroughly. They want to show their caring for others during their magnificent day.

Student's Reflection
The coronavirus makes people sick and die. I wish I could fight the virus with my avatar. I learned Perseverance in this task because we need to face many difficulties, but we never give up.
Teacher's Comment
Across the world, due to the widespread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), children are affected by physical distancing, quarantines and school closures. This inspired Hannah to use her imagination to cooperate with her avatar and help defeat the virus. She uses a variety of word choice in her writing which impressed me. I fully understand what makes Hannah have this great idea. What a fantabulous story, Hannah!
