Task Description
Warm and Cool Colour Tree
Task Description In In this artwork, the students explored warm and cool colours. Warm colours are shades that make us feel warmed up, all shades and hues of red, yellow and orange. Cool colours make us feel fresh and energized, all shades and hues of blue, purple and green.
The students had to draw a grid that created a great opportunity to practice using rulers first. Then they drew a tree with branches. Lastly, they had to apply warm and cool colours in the correct places.

Student's Reflection
I thought of the wonder of nature when I created this picture, and we learned to draw a circle by using a round piece of paper. I hope a comfortable, lovely and peaceful environment will always be around us. I will continue creating artwork like this.
Teacher's Comment
Charlie had shown a high level of understanding by showcasing the difference between warm and cool colours. The artwork was very neat and pleasing to the eye and showed a lot of detail. It showed that Charlie had good colouring skills. I like the texture on the tree. Such a beautiful art piece. Well done!
