Task Description
Singing: The Rabbit and Panda
This song teaches the technique of ‘Call and Response’ and is in the form of a conversation between two animals –a rabbit and a panda. ‘Call and Response’ is a technique whereby performers can engage in a dialogue with their listeners, thus using music to stimulate communication between people. One student will sing the panda lines, and one student will sing the rabbit lines of the song as a call and response.

If I had a chance to do this piece over again, I would stand still with confidence and be more familiar with the song lyrics. I like singing very much.

If I had a chance to do this piece over again, I would sing in a more gentle voice in order to create a smooth singing sound with my partner.
Teacher's Comment
They did a good job of presenting the ‘Call and Response’ song like a conversation, and they mostly sang the song with correct pitch and rhythm. They could perform the song better by singing with a similar volume to each other so it sounds more like a conversation.
