Task Description
Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist. Her artworks are full of polka dots. She thinks dots represent everything, which is innumerable and infinite. Students learned from Kusama and her artworks of different combinations of dots to form lines, curves and shapes. Students were able to draw their favourite marine animal and use dots to decorate it. We hope our students can appreciate and learn from art pieces and respect different art forms.

Student's Reflection
I picked jelly fish to have in my marine world. I have learned this style from Yayoi Kusama’s artworks, which were full of dots. I like this style very much, and I coloured it with many bright colours. Thank you Miss Shiu, I am glad that I learnt this skill, and I will use it for other drawings.
Teacher's Comment
Keiznin shows her understanding of Yayoi Kusama’s artworks. After practicing drawing dots during lessons, she can apply the polka dots to form patterns of lines and curves. She is also creative enough to design different cute patterns in the dots. Also, she not only blackens the dots, and this makes the jellyfish look more energetic.
