Students had to sing the song, “Pease Porridge Hot” for the singing assignment during the Christmas holiday. Students learned to sing the song through Zoom lessons. “Pease Porridge Hot” is a children’s rhyme that only contains three different notes -do, mi, so-throughout the song. Students could practice hand actions with this song as well. When students sings the song, they should be aware on pronouncing the words and sing in the correct pitch.

Chloe mostly sang the song gently, with correct pitch and rhythm. Also, she could pronounce the words clearly. For a better performance, she could try memorizing the lyrics and singing without looking at the book.
