Task Description
Line Illusion
Line Illusion is a fascinating topic for letting students learn from skill-building activities in creative production. ‘Lines drawing’ helps students to apply the visual elements of lines to create illusion. Also, they learn to apply complementary colours to create contrast in the line illusion. Through this topic, they understand the combination of forms, value and space with the lines depicting depth.

Student's Reflection
I drafted the drawing with straight and curved lines. I learned complementary colours and I chose to use red and green. It was amazing that it does have the visual 3D effect. I stuck my photo on the drawing, it looked like a web was catching me and that I was very scared and yelling for help! I really enjoyed doing this artwork. It was so much fun!
Teacher's Comment
Yolanda’s line illusion is amazing. Both of the straight and curve lines are good to create the illusion like a net. She also made a cute pose to act like falling down to the net. It is appreciated that her drawing is neat and the colours are smooth and bright. The concept of line illusion is not easy though, Yolanda shows her good manner of drawing it.
