Task Description
We believe lower level students are old enough to be full of creativity and interesting ideas. Draw My Mind is an amusing topic for students to present their thoughts freely. Our wish was for students to get to know more about themselves and be able to think creatively.
For this project, they had to draw what they like in life in a large thought bubble above their heads (see photos). We nurture them to care more about themselves and learn to present their ideas visibly.
Student's work
1C (7) Austin Chong
Student's Reflection
I like to express my ideas through drawing. My favourite food is ice cream, so l drew a big ice cream in the middle. I used bright colours to make my drawing colourful, and I learned how to draw patterns to make it look more interesting!
Teacher's Comment
Austin is good at drawing and colouring, and his drawing is neat and understandable -with clear ideas. Austin knows how to enrich his drawing with different visual elements, including the green dots, yellow lines and blue spinning lines to create patterns. We also appreciate that he has good manners and is attentive when drawing.
