Task Description
We asked the students of P1 to reflect on our lesson where the main character of “The Boy who Cried I Promise”, is lonely because he broke his promises to get his classmates possessions.
This task was an extension of the part of our book where Jonah has no friends because he lacked integrity and lied to them.
We asked students to draw about and/or draw what they thought was more important-friends to play with, or lots of toys and things.

Student's Reflection
In this lesson, I learned to care, especially, for my family and friends. I like the people I drew in my picture, and especially how colourful it is. However, if I did the picture again I would draw one more kid playing tennis. This lesson taught me about Care. I learned that someone to play with is more important than having a lot of toys.
Teacher's Comment
Clifton has done a great job of drawing playing his favourite sport with a friend. There is a teacher or parent on the sidelines encouraging them in their game. I love the colours and the happy feeling of them playing together. I was glad to see that Clifton and all of the children in 1C realized the importance of friends over material things
