Task Description
P.1 students started to read e-books on the Raz-kids online reading platform in September. After they read the books and answered comprehension questions regarding the story, stars would be awarded each time. Students could use the stars to decorate their reading robot, Avatar, by buying them new clothes and accessories. Students could also design their own Avatar.
In this task, there was a writing competition from the Raz-kids platform and Kami wrote “My Wonderful Day with My Avatar”. Students have to imagine that they would spend a day with the Avatar. They developed the story after brainstorming ideas with the teacher during the English lesson.

Student's Reflection
I am excited about this piece of work. I like the ending because Lula will come back on my birthday. I want my classmates to notice that all Avatars are connected. I don’t want to change my work, because I like my writing.
Teacher's Comment
Kami wrote her story with W5H details as elaborations. She was able to express her ideas in paragraphs. She also imagined that if a member of the Avatars disappeared, Raz-kids platform would be out of order. She showed sympathy by letting go of the Avatar. She was able to apply moral values “connectedness” and “Caring” by expressing it in her encounter of Raz-kids Avatar. Good job, Kami!
