Weatherford ISD is committed to the health, safety and academic learning of your child. Weatherford ISD will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

Grading Updates:

Weatherford ISD students will receive pass/fail grades for the remainder of the year due to Coronavirus closure.

5th Reporting Period*

Teachers are monitoring student progress and will assign passing or failing grades for the 5th reporting period which ends on April 30, 2020.

Report cards for the 5th reporting period will be posted in Skyward on May 4, 2020.

6th Reporting Period*

Teachers will monitor student progress and will assign passing or failing grades for the 6th reporting period for the end of the school year.

Secondary students will not take final semester exams.

Dual Credit students will receive a grade from Weatherford College and a pass/fail from Weatherford High School.

High School counselors will contact parent/students who had a failing grade the first semester to develop an individual plan to regain credit.


*Teachers will work with students who have failing grades to provide makeup work, alternate assignments or other activities to bring their grades up.

Promotion for elementary and middle school students will be based on grades from the first four six week periods.

Valedictorian, salutatorian and local honors for seniors graduating in 2020 will be based on class ranks and GPAs from the first semester.
