About Us

Norwood Preschool is an integrated, full day preschool program serving both general education and special education three and four year old students.  The program strives to provide a caring and quality early education to young learners.  Its purpose is to provide a safe and happy environment where young children may develop readiness skills and enjoy interpersonal relationships with their peers.

Our school is small in size allowing us to cultivate intimate and personal relationships with students and their families.  Small class sizes create an atmosphere where our students can receive hands-on, individualized instruction, grow socially, and be creative.

At Norwood Preschool, students are exposed to age-appropriate content.  Utilizing Curiosity Corner Curriculum,  lessons are focused on establishing a structured and caring environment where children are treated as unique and special and develop a positive self-image and attitude toward others.   We work to develop learning behaviors, cultivate fine and gross motor skills, promote letter and sound recognition, introduce number identification and counting, and support social skills.  

Our facility includes two classrooms, an outside playground, bathrooms within the classrooms, and multiple play stations within each classroom to foster multi-sensory, hands on learning experiences.

As both classrooms are within the building,  we work diligently to create a smooth transition from Norwood Preschool to wherever the next step in your child's education takes them!
