Yes, this is an opportunity for high school students within the United States. Priority areas are New Orleans, Memphis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and Washington, D.C. (DMV).
We ask that youth are able to commit to all 3 weeks of the program. However, we also understand that life happens.
Students will not be penalized for missing days due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or injury. We also recognize the importance of existing obligations such as doctor's appointments.
If for any reason a student has to leave the program early, their stipend will be issued at a prorated rate.
Yes, graduating high school seniors are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Additionally, we will also consider applications from youth ages 19 if they will be college freshmen in the fall.
Yes, this is an online program. However, we want to give everyone access to the online program. We will distribute tablets with internet access to those that do not have access to the internet for the program free of charge.
Space is available for several participants from private schools and homeschool. All applications will be considered and youth from these schools should not be discouraged from applying.
