With the first board I feel like I kind of just threw the photos onto the board with no structure and no groupings in mind. This board was made before deciding not to use the second shoot of Hamilton gardens because it doesn't completely suite the theme. The bottom two rows, using the second shoot, are quite repetitive with the arches from the Italian garden and there are no clear groupings and flow between all of the images. I like the top three images but I feel like they are all more establishing shots and because that shoot is the one that the board is going to be based around I feel like there should've been a wider range of techniques and compositions used on the board from shoot 1.
This board, using the first shoot, definitely matches the theme a lot better but there is still quite a lack of grouping. It still looks like I kind of just put the images on the board without any structure because none of the photos have similarities and no clear transitions. I like that there are more detailed shots of the building of smaller sections rather than just the focus being on an entire side of the house. I still used the same three images from the first shoot that I used on the first half board but I put them at the bottom of the board, which kind of doesn't make much sense because it would work better if they were are the top of the board and then the images gradually get more detailed.
I really like this board layout. I got better at using different groupings with lines, textures, and the artist model at the bottom. I need to explore more styles and use different artist models to fruther extend my ideas.
I dont think that this board is as strong as my last one with the groupings and the artist models. I wanted to include my latest shoot on the board but I feel like it doesnt really fit with the other shoots on the board.
I really like the first board, I think it looks quite strong and uses a range of techniques. I also like the reflections at the top of the second board and I liked that the glass transitions into the windows. I also liked that I kind of transitioned the groupoing of lighting into lines on the first board.
