Shoot 1 Evaluation
Things I like about the shoot
My first shoot was split among three locations, and I tried to follow the artist model 'Lewis Baltz' for my first location. I think that it was a good idea as it gave me a direction and just a place to start. I chose Lewis Baltz as I enjoyed recreating his work most of the artist models we have looked at so far. Another positive of this Shoot is that I genuinely like some of the images I created - and it has given me more ideas of things to try in the future.
Things I could improve in/ didn't work
I think I need to take more images in the future - I met the brief but need to be less picky of photos whilst I am photographing.
I strayed off theme - I used some of the techniques that I recognized in my artist models ( as seen in the brief ) However, next time I need to set out with ones that also fit my theme.
I would like to practice/ work on my night photography - learn more about what helps photographing in low light. Some of my images didn't work how I intended in the low light location.
What will I try to do next time?
I need to set to shoot out with Artist models that also fit my theme.
Use an object to photograph - I stuck too much to scenery
Try using a model - as this is seen a lot in my inspiration.

Things I like about the shoot
The artist model really gave me a direction to go to, and helped me create a plan for my shoot
I like the use of a model as my subject
The blurred, dreamy look of the image.
The contrast between the model and the background.
Things I could improve in/ didn't work
Explore more from the artist model, try things that I didn't see more. I began to change things up in the last 10 photographs but I need to get there faster.
What will I try to do next time?
I need to re-think my theme before my next shoot
Try to explore out from the artist model further.

Things I like about the shoot
I like the use of the shirt as an object - I think it worked well and I like how many different ways I used it in this shoot.
I really like the reflective material and will definitely come back and use this again.
Things I could improve in/ didn't work
I think I strayed too far away from the original artist model, and I could improve in using more of the identified key features.
I wish the falling shirts were in better focus
What will I try to do next time?
Next time I am going to try to emulate the artist model better. and use more of the key features.
I want to continue using the shirt and also bring in some new objects.

Things I like about the shoot
I think I emulated the artist model better than in previous shoots.
I like the contrast of colour from the petals
I think I explored different ideas and tried techniques that I wouldn't have tried without the artist's model
Things I could improve in/ didn't work
I have identified that my ISO is too high, I need to fix/ change this before my next shoot.
I think I should have planned this shoot further, as some of the objects don't relate to any of my ideas.
I overused the petals
What will I try to do next time?
Next time, I want to physically write down a plan for the shoot. looking at my layout plan, I want to do a portrait-based shoot.
I need to correct my ISO value
