Evaluation:
I think that this is an okay board submission, however it lacks a bit of creativity as it has a similar vibe to my last year's folio. I have used artist models but the layout doesn't make sense because I start with a person missing then investigate the books.
Evaluation:
I think my board has progressed from last time, however it still doesn't make much sense to me. It is obvious I am struggling with how to best showcase my work.
Evaluation:
I really enjoy the beginning sequence on board one, but it kind of limits what else I can do. I also do not have a lot of artist models on my board to make my work stronger and more cohesive.
Evaluation:
I think I'm finally on a roll with my work. I am glad to have switched around my board one a bit more and starting off my work with the house then going inside the house to investigate the books. I also like the use of shutter speed and double exposure on board two and the range of artist models that have helped me to explore new ideas.
Evaluation:
I am happy with my first two boards, however I do want to try and add frames around my Erena Baker-inspired images at the bottom of board two so that it can closer resemble my artist model's work. I think starting board three off with the lights and Amy Friend attempt as I think it works nicely with the collage series and photo manipulations I have done. I still want to extend my ideas further and want to possibly experiment still life with cyanotype paper or using different artist models like John Stezaker and Ngahuia Harrison.
