Marching Band

Overview

Our marching band is a component of our larger concert ensembles and as such, students who participate in marching band also will learn the basics of good tone production, air support, and quality musicianship. Although our Marching Band does fall in our First Trimester, that class is a good blend of marching basics, field show routines, and concert band music. Once we wrap up the marching component of first trimester (typically in early to mid October) the next month and a half is dedicated solely to Concert Band and ensemble playing. Please don't let the "marching" component of this class scare you away. It is easier than you think and we have great staff here to help you learn.
