One Act Play
Dimensions-
- 50' wide proscenium arch opening
- From curtain line to midstage traveler is 19' 6"
- Additional crossover space behind the traveler
- Legs are in a fixed position
- From curtain line to max apron depth is 12' 6"
Load In-
- Props and set pieces may be loaded in either the SE loading dock, marked S11, or via the hallway to the shop
- Ramp does not drop down to truck bed/U-Haul height; there is a small set of steps into the loading dock
- Props and set pieces may be stored for the duration of the contest
- You may load-in/out at any time during the day without disruption to performances on stage
- Stage access via a 10' wide overhead door from the shop
- Valley students will be backstage and in the shop to assist during the day
Technical Details-
- Wireless headsets are available for both sides of the stage, as well as the sound and lighting booths
- One Valley student will be available to run basic lights, or you may have your own crew member run lights from the booth and the back of the main level of the house- console is ETC Ion Classic
- Stage will be broken into 6 acting areas- USL/C/R and DSL/C/R, plus full stage and house lights on sliding faders
- No follow spots will be available
- Audio hookup is available via 3.5mm headphone jack in the sound booth at the back of the main level of the house. We can help get a level set for your sound cues. If you need an adapter, please bring one. Console is Allen and Heath SQ7
- Additional extension cables will be available backstage if needed for your own audio or other technical needs
Support Rooms-
- Dressing spaces are down the hall, across from one of the other centers, in room 1734. There is a communal makeup space, along with men's and women's dressing spaces/bathrooms, off the makeup area.
- If you need an alternative dressing space for your school, please email Amanda Pichler at pichlera@wdmcs.org
- Additional public bathrooms are just down the hall. Please do not use these as dressing/makeup spaces
