About Guys and Dolls Jr.

Guys and Dolls Jr. is based on the Tony Award winning musical Guys and Dolls that premiered in 1950. Since its beginning, the show has been performed over 1200 times on Broadway and has been lauded as the "perfect musical comedy."

Set in the hustle and bustle of New York City in the 1920's, Guys and Dolls Jr. follows renowned gambler Nathan Detroit and his pursuits to put on the biggest crap game in town, all while authorities and his fiancee, Adelaide, breathe down his neck. When Nathan does not have enough money to secure a venue for his crap game, he turns to a fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for help. This results in a bet that sends Sky running after Sarah Brown, a missionary at the Save A Soul Mission.

But as Nathan evades the authorities and his fiancee of 14 years, will he be able to put on the biggest crap game in New York? Guys and Dolls Jr. takes the audience to New York City and even as far as Havana to tell the story.
