2025 State Convention
7 members attended the Iowa State Convention last spring. They visited many colleges/careers, attended general sessions, and had lots of fun!
2024 National Convention
6 members attended National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. The members went to opening sessions each day, explored the career fair, and maneuvered their way through thousands of blue corduroy jackets. After a couple of hours at the convention center, the members and their advisor visited some memorable places.
Day 1: Dandy Breeze Dairy Farms - Members got to pet the Jersey cows the farm uses for milk production. They then learned how they get the milk from the cow to the jug.
Day 2: Teeter Farms & Trail Riding - Members visited and learned about the organic farm, how it originated, where their produce goes, took a nice walk through the woods, and even took home an artichoke.
Day 3: Beazley's Orchard - At Beazley's the members learned about the history of the farm, went on a hayride, picked apples, tried apple cider slushies, and brought home a jug of fresh, homemade apple cider.
