Commissioners
Commissioner of Clubs
The person in this position will work directly under the ASB Treasurer. Their duties will include:
Presenting new club applications for approval by the Cabinet
Submitting all club paperwork including but not limited to fundraiser requests and activity requests for approval by the Cabinet
Collecting and submitting announcement requests from clubs to ASB Secretary for approval
Compiling, publishing, and dispersing a complete club list to the student body
Compiling and maintaining a calendar record of all club activities, including fundraisers
Stimulating interest in school clubs and co-curricular activities
Ensuring the proper submittal of club constitutions, member sign-in sheets, and meeting minutes to the Cabinet for review
Notifying the Executive Board of any clubs deemed inactive, disbanded, or discontinued
Personal Qualifications:
Must be a good student role model.
Must be a confident speaker in front of people
Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
Must be a fair-minded person with no personal biases.
Must have the ability to motivate others.
Must be able to manage time well and have time outside of leadership class.
Commissioner of Public Relations
The person in this position will work directly under the ASB Secretary. Their duties will include:
Overseeing the Publicity Committee
Acting as liaison to the community, Journalism, and Yearbook
Promoting school events on and off campus in collaboration with Journalism and Yearbook
Assisting the Yearbook Advisor and ASB Advisor to sell yearbooks in monthly promotions, yearbook sales, and distribution
Creating, coordinating and overseeing all community outreach events
Updating ASB Secretary with upcoming community outreach events
Creating and updating school announcements
Submitting school announcements to ASB President for approval
Delegating jobs to members of the Publicity Committee

Must be able to manage time well and have time outside of leadership class.
Must be able to work well with deadlines.
Commissioner of Events
The person in this position will work directly under the ASB Vice President. Their duties will include:
Overseeing the Events Committee
Overseeing and coordinating planning and set up of all dances, House Competitions, and other ASB sponsored events
Collaborating with ASB Treasurer and Finances Committee to complete revenue projections
Submitting expense requests for all necessary materials to ASB Treasurer for review
Finalizing all planned spirit weeks and collaborating with Publicity Committee to determine most effective publicity methods
Updating ASB Vice President with upcoming events
Regularly updating ASB President on progress of event set-up and planning
Delegating jobs to members of the Events Committee
Compiling ideas for House competitions as reported by Director of Houses
Personal Qualifications:
Must know how to have fun and put of an entertaining event.
Must have the ability to be happy and energetic at the drop of a dime.
Must work well with people.
Must have the ability to make quick decisions.
Must be a good student role model.
Must be a confident speaker in front of large groups.
Must be able to communicate effectively with others (peers and adults).
Must be able to manage time well and have time outside of leadership class.
