ABOUT US
The Foster and Homeless Youth Center offers a range of services for both students and parents within the West Covina Unified School District!
MISSION
The Foster and Homeless Youth Center was established in 2016, with the vision of facilitating collaboration between foster and homeless students, their families, and the community at large, in order to maximize opportunities for educational, emotional, and social success.
PROGRAM GOALS
Ensure that foster and homeless students achieve educational equity
Increase stability among the students and families that we serve
Assure that the basic needs of foster & homeless children and families within our school district, are being met
Work in collaboration with school personnel to promote academic success and student achievement

After-school tutoring
Summer enrichment programs
Uniform assistance, hygiene kits, backpacks, and school supplies
College and scholarship information
Financial aid application assistance
Referrals to community agencies
Care coordination with local and county social service agencies
